VISUAL ART - A MALE PHYSIQUE MODEL COMPETITION

Date: Saturday, June 12, 2010 - 6 pm
Location: Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University

World-Class Classic Physiques is proud to present Visual Art - a male physique model competition with a portion of the proceeds (five dollars from every ticket sold) to benefit the AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta (ARCA).

Established in the fall of 2008, World-Class Classic Physiques’ goal is to present physique competitions in a non-traditional format. All experience levels are welcome, from novice to professional, from batamweight to heavyweight. Visual Art will combine The Arts with the art of bodybuilding. It is bodybuilding meets popular reality TV talent and model shows. After a brief video and posing routine from the competitors, industry experts and celebrity judges will choose the top winner in each weight class, the audience will select the overall winner by cell phone voting.

The overall winner will receive a prize package containing sponsor gifts and an opportunity to appear in one of Lee Daniels’ future film projects. Lee Daniels produced Monster’s Ball and The Woodsman. He directed Shadow Boxer and directed soon-to-be released films “Push” and “Tennessee” starring Mariah Carey. The overall winner will also receive a self-portrait painting done by painter Charles Casnel.

Original paintings by Atlanta’s own Sam Burston will be awarded to the overall winner in each of the four categories: Best Physique, Best Poser (Choreography), Best Personality, and Most Photogenic.

The first place winner in each weight class will win a bracelet from  Titanium-Jewelry.com

All ages starting at 18 years old and older can compete in one of the four weight classes:

• Lightweight (154 lbs. and below)
• Middleweight (over 154 lbs. - 176 lbs.)
• Light Heavy (over 176 lbs. - 198 lbs.)
